Wednesday!!!
Yeah happy hump day!! Well almost end of the week for me!! Tomorrow I have a half day and no work on Friday. Still have some shopping to do and late packages to get out to the family. I'm just behind the ball this year. And to lazy to get the Christmas cards out! Oh well. Next year is what I keep telling myself. I keep thinking that next year we will have a baby at our Christmas!! I'm excited. My belly is growing bigger and bigger now. I'll get some photos up soon. And she is moving and hiccuping a lot! I feel her kick up above my belly button now. So she is moving up. Probably why I'm getting heartburn all the time now!! I'm taking so many tums (yuck!) and eating as much dried papaya as I can but nothing seems to work. They say its just all my organs getting jammed up north and just part of the process. Chris has his hand on my belly a lot and is always talking to her and trying to hear her heartbeat. So cute! He is excited. What a new journey we are on!! I'm loving this holiday season. We have our little place all decorated. Even did the front porch and bushes too! Looks so pretty! We have been going on our nightly walks to check out all the neighbors lights. One of my favorite things to do growing up. Our drives around town looking at the lights. Wishing there was some snow on top of those lights. Christmas just isn't the same with palm trees. I dream of the day when I'm back east. I do have a trip planned in January to go home for a visit. I can't wait. My last visit by myself. I'm looking forward to seeing some friends and spending time with my mama! Well Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Love you much!

Kids
One of our favorite shows to watch is Modern Family. I laugh so much all they way through. This weeks episode had a great quote I thought I would share.
"We like to think we are so smart, that we have all the answers. And we want to pass all that on to our children. But if you scratch beneath the surface, you don't have to dig very deep to find the kid you were, which is why it's kind of crazy that we're now raising kids of our own...I guess that's the real circle of life. Your parents faked their way through it. You fake your way through it. And hopefully you don't raise a serial killer.

Thought for the day
"If love and beauty were easy to find, they would not exist. Chaos and sadness exist in order for you to find the love and beauty in them. So that love and beauty mean something. It's meant to be hard."

Thoughts on Standing Beside a Bomb in a Crowded Square
One of my favorite blogs to read is Don Miller's blog. Not only do I love love love his books but his blog is always right on target for me. He puts into words things I wish I could. So here is his today's blog. I've frequented Pioneer Square when I lived in Portland and was shocked when I heard the attempted bombing there. He being there that night has some really good perspective on extremism and this so called "war on terrorists". Check it out Thoughts on Standing Beside a Bomb in a Crowded Square
